I keep coming back to this idea that if everyone was aware of and could agree to adhere to a handful of core, foundational principles things may be much better off.
Truth - merely that which has already occurred, past tense. Truth is objective, meaning it doesn’t change, as opposed to that which is subjective and can change (beliefs or opinions)
Right(s) - a right is an action that does not cause harm to others. A right is a moral action. Rights have three corollaries or characteristics… 1. All rights are based on property, 2. Every right implies a responsibility, 3. The only limitation upon one’s rights are the equal rights of others.
Some others could be: elements of a contract, what constitutes power-of-attorney, what is money, et cetera.
At least this would give people some compass to help navigate through the insanity. IMO
one of the main criticisms I have of this guest is he completely downplays the real situation in the antifa controlled parts of the country. The local prosecutors , law enforcement ,and judges are completely onboard with them. You're right, the federal government is charged with defending us from invasion, I feel right now there's a fine line to tread because a large contingent of the public suffers from weaponized empathy, any drastic (though justifiable) move may set them off.
Per their oath of office, there really is no mechanism in place to prevent them from doing whatever they want once in office, aside from the threat of not being voted back in. Perhaps going after their bond by filing professional conduct complaints or judicial complaints where applicable.
The truth is, if one were to take an elected official to court, we would discover that these politicians don't actually re-present anyone, voting doesn't constitute power-of-attorney. Not that I can see at present, at least.

The optics trump was obviously going for was a dressing down of the brass for decades of failure.
Dressing downs are best done in person.
