Great show Mike. I liked how both Matt and Jim let each other have extended answers to topics, it didn't feel like a battle for the top.
Ina weird coincidence I watched Apocalypto about a week ago and it really is a top notch movie about pre-concact America. If that movie didn't win special effects that year it was a robbery, it really transported you to Mayan central America. Something Jim and Matt didn't bring up was the prophecy about Quetzalcoatl returning during the year One-reed which is the same year Cortez arrived, truly a weird historical coincidence.
Hope you enjoy your time away from the desert, and hope you find a new place to live before 26. Also really hope you and JHK put together that solo show when you are visiting, very few writers have influenced my thought like Mr. Kunstler and you are a top notch interviewer.
