Amy Coney Barrett has always been a fraud. She comes from the Southern planter aristocracy specifically the Catholic intelligentsia out of Louisiana. They are as institutionalist as they come and utterly untrustworthy and unreliable. Robert Barnes has been 100% vindicated on his warnings. It has nothing to do with some kind of secret blackmail. The warning signs were there from the start. Same with John Roberts who’s also been a loyal institutionalist (but he’s smarter than Barrett in recognizing when public opinion has sharply turned against these court shenanigans). During the lockdowns she cited Jacobson as justification for dismissing constitutional challenges to that policy and that is the worst Supreme Court decision in the history of the country. It was used as the justification by the Hitler regime to greenlight the Holocaust. Mitch McConnell recommended her which alone should’ve been reason to not pick her. Aside from a few obvious differences on things like abortion and anything institutionally tied to the Catholic Church she’ll be indistinguishable from Ruth Bader Ginsburg. She’ll be a hinderance and stain on Trump’s legacy for decades to come. The up side is that Trump is done with taking the word of the Federalist Society and long over listening to Mitch McConnell who’s busy destroying his legacy with normie and institutional conservatives.

Hey Mike, with regards to predictive programming- something you and Dave might find interesting - there's a 1998 movie called Enemy of the State. Will smith, Gene Hackman, Jack Black, good movie. It's basically about the concept of the patriot act.

Ok, so what? Well at one point, in the middle of a monologue about the NSA listening for any keywords like "Allah", "Bomb", etc. our heroes look up the birth date of the antagonist - care to guess? 9-11.

Ain't that weird?

I barely tolerate Tom’s defense of that ungodly abomination The Last Jedi. Shitting on Tombstone is one step too far. J/K sorta.

Totally. Although one of my favorite Val Kilmer movies was Real Genius

Kilmer in Tombstone and although a small role was in Heat are my favorites. Trainers use the part in the movie during the bank shootout with Kilmer’s reload during shootout as a textbook example of the proper way.

The guy who brought up the 2012 satanic olympic opening completely missed the fact it was a Covid-19 Foreshadowing of killing people with the virus, the shots, and the hospital protocols. Watch it again. It features the spike protein, kill shots, scary nurses. Missed the ball on that one. Plandemic on the books for decades. Final plan at practice session October 2019.

the comment about the "mom and pop's" everywhere are being brought up by big money. I saw a "local laundry" in mom's home town called "the lost sock" . then a couple of weeks later I went on a road trip and I saw half a dozen other mom local looking laundramats all with the same name. they were all called the lost sock . I have noticed this with resturants, car washes, hardware stores , and credit unions .

Mom and pop grocery were bought up by Walmart. Lots of foreign private equity also in market. Late stage monopoly.

Sometimes owners can own 5-10-15 laundromats in an area. Business ownership and franchisees tends to be mostly non native English speakers in U.S. you know like dominos, Jersey Mik, WingStop, tropical smoothie, mostly owned by muslm. Laundromats and self serve carwash occasionally may be English speaking or white dude (1 out of town). Cell phone stores too.

Jim had a really good point about how reality is effectively a group consensus that is susceptible to changes once there is enough of a preference cascade in the group.

Western thought tends to underestimate how important the subjective is to the concept of "reality", there is clearly something "real" out there, but it's getting filtered through the very fallible nervous systems of human populations.

Mike

After listening to this podcast I listened to TFTC podcast #604 Marty with Tom Luongo. Tom did not say the "F" word once. He may have said "s**t" couple of times. It was enjoyable.

I have listened to GG&G for as long as avail and watched Tom get more profanity filled rants then ever before and it is not enjoyable.

When Dave M and Tom get going and we have to watch their "puffed up" selves go on and on and on and ignore gentlemen like you and Jim is not enjoyable.

Please don't invite those two on together again.
